Inputs the App Accepts

• Tap and drag painting — tap a bead to color it, or drag across the grid to paint continuously. Undo is unlimited within a session.
• Copy and paste(every plan): drag to select a group of beads, copy it, then tap where it should go and paste — as many times as you like, in both designers, and into another open pattern. A motif moved between an earring's brick stitch top and its straight fringe is adjusted to fit, since those beads don't line up; the paste bar says so before you paste.
• Symmetry (Pro): paint one half of the pattern and every bead, eraser stroke, and sticker is mirrored onto the other half across a guide line, in both designers.
• Earring pattern settings (chosen at design start): one-drop or two-drop brick stitch; triangle bottom width (default 13 beads; odd widths 7–17 with the Variable Width add-on or Pro); triangle top width (default 2; 2–7 with the add-on or Pro); fringe shape (chevron by default; rectangular and diagonal with the Fringe Shapes Pack or Pro); fringe length (Medium 41 beads by default; Short 28, Long 54, or a custom length of 1–100 beads with Pro).
• Top shapes (shape packs or Pro): swap the triangle for a Diamond, Star, Mandala, Circle, or Butterfly silhouette, picked at design start. Diamond, Star, Mandala, and Circle scale their centermost-row width (odd 7–17 with the Variable Width add-on or Pro).
• Pattern Designs — ready-made earring structures on the Patterns page (Half Moon, Teardrop, Flower, Eagle) that open directly in the editor, fully colorable. These use structures the standard setup can't build, like mixed one/two-drop rows and shaped fringe. Half Moon, Teardrop, and Flower include the chevron, rectangular, and diagonal fringe choice; the Eagle has its own two-tier feather fringe.
• Charm grid settings: horizontal or vertical orientation; Small, Medium, or Large presets (10×20, 20×30, 30×40 beads horizontal — transposed for vertical); custom grids from 4×4 up to 200×200 with Pro.
• Color choices from five curated palettes — Free, Metallic, Pastel, Neon, and Skin Tone. Pro users can also add up to 16 custom colors by HEX code and pin favorite colors.
• Inspiration Image upload(Pro): a JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF photo up to 10 MB. The server extracts the photo's dominant colors, maps them to the closest bead palette colors, and applies them to your pattern. Photos are processed and immediately discarded — never stored.
• Stickers (Sticker Pack add-on or Pro): preset shapes — hearts, diamonds, circles, moons, and stars — stamped onto the grid in one tap, plus a Spooky sub-pack of Halloween shapes (bat, spider, pumpkin, skull, boo) in the fringe picker. Available on the default triangle top only — custom top shapes (Diamond, Star, Butterfly, and the Pattern Designs) mix in half-width fringe beads along their dense diagonals, which sticker shapes can't translate onto correctly.

Outputs the App Produces

• PNG pattern chart — a single downloadable image containing the full bead pattern (rendered server-side) plus a color legend.
• Bead counts per color — the legend lists every color used with a swatch and the exact number of beads, so your shopping list is precise.
• Miyuki Delica DB code references — each legend color includes the closest matching Miyuki Delica DB code as optional guidance (not exact conversions).
• Optional bead letters — with the ABC letters option on, the export prints the letter for each color inside every bead and inside its legend swatch, matching the chart on screen.
• Resolutions — 1× for free exports; 2× and 4× with the No-watermark add-on or Pro. Free exports include a diagonal watermark.
• PDF with a word chart (Pro): page 1 is the same pattern and color key as the PNG, printed at 300 DPI, with bead letters and row labels that match the chart. The pages after it write the pattern out row by row — where to begin, which side each row starts from, and bead counts by color letter — then every fringe strand as a lettered column from the left. It covers the triangle, every top shape and Pattern Design (the Butterfly follows the row order of its how-to guide), and charms, where each section notes whether its rows start with increasing or decreasing brick stitch. Untick the word chart for a one-page PDF.

Export formats are PNG (every plan) and PDF (Pro). There is no SVG or JSON export, and no URL-based pattern sharing — patterns are shared as exported files.

Supported Bead Sizes

Patterns are count-based charts rather than physical measurements, so they work with any uniform seed bead. The color palettes and DB code references are based on Miyuki Delica cylinder beads (size 11/0 is the common choice for fringe earrings), but you can stitch the same chart with Toho or other brands — bead counts stay identical, only the finished size changes.
