1. Acceptance
By using BeadFringeLab, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the app. We may update these terms at any time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of service
BeadFringeLab is a web-based tool for designing beaded fringe earring patterns. Users can paint bead colors, configure pattern shapes, export designs as PNG files, and (for Pro subscribers) save patterns to the cloud.
3. Accounts
A free-tier account is not required — you may use the editor and export patterns without signing in. An account (email and password) is required to purchase add-ons or a Pro subscription.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Use rights by tier
Free tier
- Personal, non-commercial use only.
- All exported PNG files include a watermark. You must not remove, crop, obscure, or otherwise alter the watermark. Distributing or selling watermarked exports with the watermark removed is a violation of these terms.
- No cloud saves. Patterns are stored locally in your browser only.
Add-on purchases
Add-ons unlock specific features individually. Use rights depend on which add-ons you have purchased:
No-watermark downloads add-on
Purchasing the no-watermark add-on removes the watermark from all future exports and grants full commercial use rights with no restrictions or caps. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Selling finished beadwork created from your patterns (unlimited quantity)
- Selling digital pattern files derived from your designs
- Taking client commissions using your patterns
- Teaching paid classes — online or in-person — using patterns you designed
Other add-ons (color packs, fringe shapes, stickers, variable width)
These add-ons unlock design features only. Exports continue to carry a watermark unless you have also purchased the no-watermark add-on or a Pro subscription. Use rights remain personal, non-commercial.
All add-on purchases are permanent and account-bound. They are available on any device you sign in to, never expire, and cannot be transferred to another account. Add-ons do not unlock cloud saves — that is a Pro-only feature.
Pro subscription
Pro subscribers are granted full commercial use rights with no restrictions or caps — the same rights as Add-on holders above. This includes unlimited sales of finished beadwork, digital pattern sales, client commissions, and teaching (online or in-person).
- All add-ons are included at no extra cost.
- Exports are watermark-free at 1×, 2×, or 4× resolution.
- Patterns are saved to the cloud and available across all devices. Base Pro includes storage for up to 100 patterns. The optional Storage Add-On ($2.99/month, billed separately) increases this limit to 300 patterns. The Storage Add-On requires an active Pro subscription; cancelling Pro also cancels the Storage Add-On. If the Storage Add-On is cancelled and your saved pattern count exceeds 100, your existing patterns are preserved but new patterns cannot be saved until you delete enough to fall below the 100-pattern limit or reactivate the Storage Add-On.
- Deleted patterns are moved to Recently Deleted and permanently removed after 7 days. You may restore or permanently delete them at any time during that period.
- Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period after cancellation. No prorated refunds are issued.
5. Payments and refunds
All purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD; Stripe handles currency conversion automatically.
Most add-on purchases are one-time and non-refundable once the feature has been accessed. The Storage Add-On is a recurring monthly subscription ($2.99/month) and may be cancelled at any time via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Pro subscriptions may also be cancelled at any time via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period.
Refund requests for exceptional circumstances can be submitted to the contact address below and are handled at our discretion.
6. Intellectual property
You own the patterns you create. We claim no ownership over your designs.
The BeadFringeLab application, including its name, logo, code, and design system, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the application itself.
7. Prohibited use
- You may not attempt to bypass rate limits, watermarks, or entitlement checks.
- You may not use the service to distribute malicious content.
- You may not reverse-engineer or extract proprietary algorithms from the app.
- Free-tier users may not remove or obscure watermarks on exported files.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
BeadFringeLab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of patterns or data.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us; all associated data will be removed within 30 days.
